GERMAN NEW MEDICINE® (GNM)The ideal Preventive Medicine
by CAROLINE MARKOLIN, Ph.D
“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”. This saying, coined by the great scholastic humanist Desiderius Erasmus, is more relevant now than ever. The “war on cancer” (Nixon, 1971) is essentially lost. A “cure” for cardiovascular diseases is not really in sight. “Degenerative disorders” like Alzheimer’s, diabetes, or osteoporosis are on a steady climb. Curative medicine is at a dead end. Now it is “Preventive Medicine” that raises new hopes, and we are flooded with ever-changing theories and “latest studies”, telling us how to avoid getting sick in the first place. Not even the experts are sure any more. Should we avoid butter or margarine so as not to clog our arteries? Should we abstain from alcohol entirely or enjoy this daily glass of red wine to prevent a heart attack? In an interview with the Globe and Mail (8.1.2006), CBC news caster Wendy Mesley, who was diagnosed with breast cancer, reveals (also in regards to the theory of the genetic cause of diseases): “Ten or 20 years ago, nearly all the cases of breast cancer were genetically linked. Now, Mesley says, doctors tell her they’re not. One of the oncologists told me she suspects steroids in milk. Another thinks it’s all the chemicals and pesticides in our food. Some say it’s stress.” In other words, the physicians are not sure either.
In any case, whether it is toxins in our food, amalgam fillings in our teeth, radiation from mobile phones or microwave ovens, pollutants in our environment and our homes, cigarette smoke, hair dyes, even kissing (“Kissing spreads cancer virus”, BBC News, 9.11.2000), we seem to be surrounded by dangerous “risk factors” (or could it be “fear factors”?) that are supposedly the source of illnesses. This is what we read on the Canadian website www.cancer.org about risk factors of (breast) cancer: “Although many risk factors may increase your chance of developing cancer, it is not yet known exactly how some of these risk factors cause cells to become cancerous. Different cancers have different risk factors…but having a risk factor, or even several, does not mean that you will get the disease. Most women who have one or more breast cancer risk factors never develop the disease, while many women with breast cancer have no apparent risk factors Even when a woman with breast cancer has a risk factor, there is no way to prove that it actually caused her cancer.” Is this all we get from medical science for billions of dollars applied to cancer research, not to mention the huge amount of funds raised through donations and “breast cancer walks”. So-called “Preventive Medicine” is built on a false premise, because a disease can only be prevented if we know its cause. Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer, M.D., the originator of German New Medicine (GNM), offers, for the first time in medical history, a system that allows us to understand the origin of diseases based on biological natural laws. By analyzing thousands of brain scans and comparing them with his patients’ medical records, Dr. Hamer discovered that every disease (not only cancer!) is controlled from its own specific area in the brain. Based on holistic principles that view the psyche as an integral part of our organism, he evaluated his patients’ personal histories in relation to both their physical disorders and the “reading” of their brain CT. What he found should rock the foundation of modern medicine to the core. Firmly tied to the science of embryology, Dr. Hamer established that, during the course of evolution, our brain was encoded with MEANINGFUL biological response programs that are activated the moment we experience unanticipated emotional distress. These unexpected “conflict shocks”, however, are of a biological rather than a psychological nature and apply to humans and animals alike, e.g., when they suffer a territory or nest related conflict, a separation from the mate or the pack, a threat of starvation, or a sudden death fright.
|
For example, we humans can suffer a death fright from a diagnosis shock that hits us like a death sentence. Simultaneously with the shock (its impact is visible on a brain CT in the area that controls the lungs), the lung cells immediately begin multiplying to increase the capacity of the lungs, which optimizes the organism’s chance of survival. It is this meaningful natural cell proliferation that we call a “lung tumor” or “lung cancer”. Similarly, if a female suffers unexpected worries over the well-being of a nest member, the milk-producing glands of her breast(s), synonymous in biological terms with caring and nurturing, immediately produce more cells to be able to provide more milk (nutrients) for the worrisome “nest” member and speed up its healing. Colon tumors, as well as other intestinal-tract disorders, are always the result of unexpected “indigestible” conflicts, like fights over money or property, divorce or custody related issues, or anger we hold on to and cannot “digest”. The biological meaning of the tumor always corresponds to the function of the organ involved.
Dr. Hamer found that particular diseases, like skin disorders, certain liver diseases, atherosclerosis, and specific cancers, e.g., (non-Hodgkin’s) lymphoma, leukemia, intraductal breast tumors, cancer of the bronchia, larynx, cervix, ovaries or testicles, and also infections such as hepatitis and pneumonia, develop exclusively during the healing phase. The healing phase sets in as soon as the related conflict has been resolved. Lung tuberculosis, for example, is an indication that the death scare is over and that the now superfluous lung tumor that consists of “disposable cells” only requisite during conflict activity, is being decomposed by certain bacteria that have been trained over the course of evolution for this very purpose. Fortunately, these helpful bacteria also break down tumors of the liver, kidney, prostate, and uterus, provided the cancer-related conflict is resolved. This repair process is not only accompanied by discharge, blood in the stool or urine, and night sweats, but also by fatigue - a good sign that the organism is recovering. If the necessary microbes are not available, because of vaccination, overuse of antibiotics, or a (previous) chemotherapy, the tumor stays in place and encapsulates harmlessly. Detected in a check-up, such an (old) tumor can trigger a (second) cancer shock with the onset of further symptoms, often a second cancer. With a good comprehension of the biological laws, we can prevent these shocks and thus prevent new diseases. relieves tension and stiffness in neck, shoulders and back strengthens back, arms and chest muscles stimulates abdominal organs and pelvic floor muscles improves digestion improves circulation improves flexibility in pelvis and spine
Thanks to Dr. Hamer’s extensive research we know now what type of emotional distress causes what type of disease, and we are able to determine whether the symptom is an indication that we are still “conflict-active” or already healing. Based on the two-phase pattern of every disease, symptoms are in fact predictable! All this is of immeasurable value for diagnosis, prognosis, therapy and prevention. If we understand each “disease” in its evolutionary, biographical, emotional and biological context, we can free ourselves from the fear and panic that often come with the onset of symptoms. This is the real preventive medicine!
Against the background of the biological laws of the origin and development of diseases, we recognize that none of the alleged and often contradictory “risk factors” can CAUSE a disease. However, we have to take care of ourselves (and our environment). We should, of course, exercise regularly, eat food free of chemicals and pesticides, get rid of those toxic mercury amalgam fillings, stay away from smoking, and consume alcohol in moderation, because our organism needs to be strong and resistant, particularly when we are healing. Never let anybody discourage you from kissing, because love is not only the best remedy, it is also the best and by far the most pleasant prevention.
